Indications:

Rexcal-D is indicated in the treatment of cases related to calcium metabolism disorders in people with chronic kidney disease. In addition, Rexcal is also used in the treatment of renal osteodystrophy, vitamin D-dependent rickets and osteoporosis or hypocalcemia associated with hypoparathyroidism.

Rexcal-D is used to treat & prevent calcium deficiency which may occur if your diet does not provide enough, or when body requirements are increased. It may also given to patients receiving kidney dialysis to remove the phosphate from the blood that cannot be removed by dialysis. This medicine may also be prescribed or recommended for certain bone conditions i.e.

Dosage:

Children (1-2 years): 1 teaspoon twice a day.
